In-House Mortgages was founded by Christian Johnson, who has more than 25 years of experience working in banking and financial services.
Having spent much of his career within the banking industry, Christian has a deep understanding of how lenders assess applications and how financial structures can influence long-term outcomes. This experience allows him to provide practical mortgage advice, financial planning and financial advice tailored to each client’s circumstances.
In addition to helping clients secure the right home loan, Christian also provides guidance on KiwiSaver and investment funds, helping ensure lending decisions align with broader financial planning goals.
Christian established In-House Mortgages to provide a more personalised approach to financial advice — helping clients understand their options and make confident decisions about property, lending, and long-term wealth creation.
Outside of work, Christian enjoys making the most of the Marlborough lifestyle with his wife Susie and their two boys.
